Charlie Woodworth
Executive Director
Charlie Woodworth joined Greater Franklin Development Council as the Executive Director in September of 2017.
Charlie brings a wealth of practical experiences with him to lead the economic development efforts for Franklin County.
Most recently Woodworth has been leading the Franklin County Broadband Initiative which aims to create access to reliable high-speed internet throughout Franklin County. As an entrepreneur, Woodworth has an appreciation for the challenges facing business owners. As an outdoor enthusiast, he also recognizes the tremendous natural assets that Franklin County offers and the potential for a growing tourism economy. Woodworth stated, “This is a pivotal time for GFDC. I am excited by the challenges and by the opportunities for the communities of Franklin County.” Charlie and his wife Merrie reside in Freeman Township.
